My Dear Visitors!
This website was launched 10 years ago on July 30, 1998. In that time it was available only in English in a very simple version. 10 years is a long time... When I started this site I did not suspect that it would remain after such a long time nor that I would get to know lots of friends, fellows, kindred spirits through it not just on the internet but in the real life too (I met hundreds of Avonlea-fans during the last years on several meetings, conventions). I did not think that this series would help me to visit Canada several times nor that one day I could shake hand with Kevin Sullivan or I could meet the actors in person. I did not think even in my dreams that Road to Avonlea and this website would change my life drastically. I found a life-long hobby in the series and in building and maintaning this website.
Of course I needed visitors. This website could not remain or expand so much and would not been working today without enthusiastic fans visiting Avonlea.hu for years. I would like to say a big thank you for my every kind visitor for the last 10 years, for the messages, kindness, enthusiasm, interest, encourage or criticism. This website, my visitors, Avonlea-friends either Hungarians or internationals from several parts of the world mean so much for me.
For the anniversary please welcome the renewed Avonlea.hu!
